Allisson Hopkins
Allison Hopkins achieved her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2011. Since that time, her pharmacy practice has been predominantly in home infusion, with a brief stint in hospital pharmacy. Her passion for home infusion and related therapies lead her to achieve her Board Certified Nutrition Support Pharmacist (BCNSP) and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) credentials in 2017. Building upon this knowledge and incorporating her love of sterile compounding, she earned her Board Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist (BCSCP) credential in 2019.
Allison’s professional memberships have included the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA), the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and she has volunteered her time to serve in various capacities for the National Board of Nutrition Certification (NBNSC), ASHP, APhA, and the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS).
Allison is passionate about home and specialty infusions, and proudly joined the Vital Care team in 2024 to lead the Tucson office!
Outside of pharmacy, Allison enjoys spending time with her family and, chocolate Labrador, cooking, skiing, the lake and dancing to country music.
